output two - characters

final digital version
Stage two - Sketches.
These are the sketches of the five characters in pen/pencil drawings based on each member of the team, and it was later decided to create a character for Bobby Abley himself. These were hand sketched and scanned into the computer.
Stage three - Pencil Colour.
Colouring each character in pencil presented an oppurtinity for us to discuss the characters and their personalities, and gave the view of how we would want them to appear. Shown above are the seven final outcomes of this.

Stage Four - Pen Colour.
Using coloured pens created a bolder colour so we could begin to distinguish how the characters were going to look when digitally coloured. This was the final stage of hand drawing; oringial sketches were then scanned into the computer and edited using Adobe Photoshop, this lead to the final outcomes that can be found at the top of this page.

Stage 1 - Originals
These are the very first drawings of the characters based on each member of the team.

The 7 characters created to communicate Bobby Abley's brand have been individually created with different unique personalities, reflecting each of the Bobby Abley campaign members as well as Bobby Abley himself through their own characteristics. The characters are all wearing Bobby Abley inspired garments, celebrating menswear through the all-male line-up. The design process of each character portrayed individuality, originality and quirkiness, all the while maintaining strong communication of the Bobby Abley brand and everything he prides his collections on.
