comic front cover:

comic strip TWO: lads night out

comic strip THREE: lads HOLIDAY

comic strip ONE: LADS UP TO NO GOOD

BAMF! comic originated from two seperate colloquial abbreviations. The first was influenced by the comic characters, storylines and general inspiration towards the output, with BAMF! standing for Bad Ass Mother Fuckers, as Bobby and G-Bear lead the gang in to some naughty situations throughout the comics. This also gives the comic a quirky, ‘bad ass’, hyper reality title. The second meaning stands for Bobby Abley Mens Fashion, descrbing exactly what the campaign is, and with Bobby being the main character and his collections being featured, this allows this abbreviation to be relevant and descriptive keeping it current and relative to Bobby and his Fashion label.

The comic strips feature Bobby, his mascot G-Bear and friends, all demonstrating and concentrating on Bobbys inspiration and influence of popular culture. The relevant and current themes to Bobbys target consumers relates to the influences Bobby has for his collections. The comics keep a light hearted cartoon base mixed in with real images to output exclusive design, and integrating them across digital platforms encouraged the moving graphics, which is another element that brings life and character to the comic strips.

Releasing the comic strip panels intermittently through social media will allow buzz and anticipation to be gained for followers and consumers. Integrating the comics and social media ensure Bobby Abley brand is coherent and utilising all platforms effectively, ensuring consumers and followers are engaged, maintaining their attention and actively involving them through their most relevant digital platform.
